The home team had won the previous four meetings between Selah and Quincy, and Selah kept the tradition alive. The Vikings blew past the Jackrabbits 12-1 on Saturday. Considering the Vikings have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Selah's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Quincy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Selah will square off against rival Othello at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Vikings 2.8, the Huskies 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Quincy is set to challenge their familiar foe Ephrata at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
