If the Kenosha Christian Life Eagles were feeling good off their 74-31 takedown of the Cristo Rey St. Martin Knights last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Kenosha Christian Life had to suffer through a rough 97-48 loss at the hands of Brookfield Academy. Kenosha Christian Life lost against Brookfield Academy in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 67-63 score last time.
Despite the loss, Kenosha Christian Life still got an impressive performance from William Barris II, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Carroll, who scored 11 points.
Kenosha Christian Life's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Brookfield Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Kenosha Christian Life will head out on the road to face off against Kingdom Prep Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brookfield Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Heritage Christian at 2:00 p.m. Heritage Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 80.2 points per game.
