McAdory (McCalla, Ala.) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat
Fort Payne (Ala.), 35-7, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Clinton Powell touchdown run in the first quarter, the Yellowjackets were up 20-0 at the half.
McAdory expanded its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. MHS's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run.
Fort Payne's only touchdown came on a 1-yard run in the third quarter.
The Wildcats came in surrendering 16.8 points per game this season. The McCalla school had given up an average of 10.9 points prior to the contest.
The loss comes after Fort Payne defeated James Clemens 37-34 last week.
