Flint River Academy's rough 45-20 defeat to Trinity Christian School of Griffin might stick with them for a while. Flint River Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Flint River Academy saw an underclassman step up: Kennedy Goldston scored ten points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Goldston has scored all season. Khloe Mask was another key contributor, scoring three points along with ten rebounds.
Flint River Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flint River Academy will take on LaGrange Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. LaGrange Academy's defense has only allowed 29.6 points per game this season, so Flint River Academy's offense will have their work cut out for Flint River Academy. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th.
