Century entered their tilt with Zeigler-Royalton on Thursday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They had just enough and edged the Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes out 67-64. This was payback for the Centurions, who suffered a 74-70 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Zeigler-Royalton's loss came despite strong showings from River Freeman and Lucas Rogers. Freeman dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards, while Rogers shot 4-for-7 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 37.5% of Zeigler-Royalton's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Johnny Gaddis, who earned seven points and eight rebounds.

Century has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Zeigler-Royalton, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
