Cedar Bluff moved up to 157 from 184 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 1A Region 7. The Tigers were able to make move up by a bye.
The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Gaylesville's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cole Murphy has thrown for 669 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Malachii Dutton has 14 catches for 279 yards. John David Jennings leads the league in rushing with 1319 yards.
Donoho and Gaylesville played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Donoho eventually emerging with a 29-24 victory.
