The Keystone Wildcats will venture away from home to face off against the Wellington Dukes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keystone will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Keystone beat Firelands 45-40. The 45-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Keystone's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madyson Sokolowski led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. Sokolowski is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played. Vivian Cassell was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Keystone smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Wellington humbled Clearview with a 53-23 victory. With the Dukes ahead 36-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Keystone better keep an eye on Brooke Lehmkuhl. She was instrumental in Wellington's win, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kalynne Pickering, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Keystone pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.5 points. As for Wellington, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Keystone has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 39.8 boards per game. However, it's not like Wellington struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.6 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Keystone took their victory against Wellington in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 53-28. In that game, Keystone amassed a halftime lead of 32-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
