Football Recap: Everett Has No Trouble Against Mariner

Everett's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Mariner Marauders with a sharp 27-6 victory. The Seagulls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Ian Lorio, who rushed for 97 yards and a pair of scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Everett was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 212 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Mariner lost, don't look at Monty James. Despite the final result, he rushed for 74 yards and one TD.

The win got Everett back to even at 5-5. As for Mariner, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

As of now, neither Everett nor the Marauders have any future games scheduled.
