TRISTIN DALZELL posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 11 over 6.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

DALZELL's strong effort led Los Alamitos over Corona del Mar and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
