Make it ten blowout wins for the Lincoln Trojans this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Leon 68-31 at home. The win was familiar territory for Lincoln who now have five in a row.
Lincoln got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jamiya Brown out in front who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Amari Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with eight steals and six rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Leon saw an underclassman step up: Mary grace Parker scored eight points along with two steals.
Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Leon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Lincoln will head out on the road to face off against Florida State University High School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Leon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Andrew Jackson at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
