University School of Nashville was the 18-15 winner over Antioch when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers lost 14-5 to the Bears on Wednesday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Nevaeh Mitchell was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

University School of Nashville's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Antioch, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University School of Nashville will welcome Cane Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Antioch, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Hillsboro at 4:00 p.m.
