While The Woodlands's win against Caney Creek wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Highlanders had just enough and edged out the Panthers 5-4 on Tuesday. The Highlanders haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The Woodlands' win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Caney Creek, they dropped their record down to 4-17 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, The Woodlands and Caney Creek will both be playing Cleveland the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Indians at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Highlanders will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
