Yerba Buena will square off against San Jose at 7:00 PM on Friday. Yerba Buena are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Yerba Buena strolled past James Lick with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 33-15. No one put up better numbers for Yerba Buena than senior Paul Phravixay, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 95 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but San Jose weren't quite Hill's equal in the second half when they met. San Jose ended up on the wrong side of a painful 13-34 walloping at Hill's hands. San Jose can't seem to catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.
Yerba Buena's victory lifted them to 4-4 while San Jose's loss dropped them down to 1-7. We'll find out if Yerba Buena can add another positive mark to their record or if San Jose can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Yerba Buena's step.
