Defeat or not, Otay Ranch got some senior leadership from Percy Whittaker who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and Dion Harvey who scored ten points along with eight rebounds. The match was Whittaker 's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dylan Yates , who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Otay Ranch struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Bishop Montgomery escaped with a win on December 2nd against Long Beach Poly by the margin of a single free throw, 47-46.
