On Tuesday, the Chilton Tigers were out to avenge their 50-27 defeat to the Roncalli Jets from their previous meeting last month, but they had no such luck. The game between them was not particularly close, with Chilton falling 53-42. Their loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
The Tigers' loss pushed them down to 14-5. The victory was the seventh in a row for Roncalli and raised their record to 17-3.
The Tigers are on the road again Friday and play against Sheboygan Falls. If the matchup is anything like Chilton's 76-71 win from their previous meeting January, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy. Roncalli has the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Valders Friday. Roncalli has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
