The North Creek Jaguars will head out on the road to challenge the Bellevue Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (North Creek has 12 straight victories, Bellevue has 16 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
North Creek took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Inglemoor, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Jaguars skirted past the Vikings 2-1. The game was the first time the Jaguars have beaten the Vikings on their field since April 11, 2022.

Reagan Fleming spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Paige Geller, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, Bellevue fell victim to Mount Si and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 26-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Wolverines' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
North Creek pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Bellevue, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Bellevue's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: North Creek hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .420. It's a different story for Bellevue, though, as they've only averaged .168. Will they be able to contain North Creek's hitters?
North Creek took their win against Bellevue when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 27-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
