After soaring to 55 points the game before, the Crisp Academy Wildcats were a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were outmatched by Westwood at home and fell 60-22. It was the first time this season that Crisp Academy let down their fans at home.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brody Ashton, who scored 4 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Tucker Ellenberg was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Crisp Academy bumped their record down to 4-3 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Westwood, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Crisp Academy will head out on the road to face off against Central Georgia Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Central Georgia Arts is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. Westwood will be home for the holidays to greet Terrell Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Terrell Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Westwood in Georgia (Terrell Academy is ranked 134th, while Westwood is ranked 400th).
