If the Greybull Buffaloes were expecting to get some payback for the 32-31 defeat against the Big Horn Rams when they previously met last March, then they were left disappointed. This past Saturday, the Buffaloes lost to Big Horn on the road by a decisive 59-47 margin.
Among those leading the charge for Big Horn was senior Courtney Wallach, who had 17 points and six assists in addition to nine boards and five steals. This makes it three games in a row in which Wallach has had at least four steals.
Greybull's loss pushed them down to 9-12. The Rams' victory brought them up to an identical 9-12.
The Buffaloes and Kemmerer will go head to head on Thursday in their first playoff contest of the year. Greybull is expected to win again but is hoping to meet expectations this time. Big Horn will stay at home against Southeast on Thursday. Big Horn isn't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them this last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.
