As for Cohoes, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
On Cohoes' side, Riley Heighes made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. Heighes has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
