Basketball Recap: St. John's S Has No Trouble Against Front Royal Homeschool

After losing to Front Royal HomeSchool the last time they met, St. John's S decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Saints enjoyed a cozy 62-47 victory over the Flames on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saints.

Front Royal HomeSchool's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Edmund Beer, who posted 23 points, and Gus Kasinski, who put up 18 points.

St. John's S' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Front Royal HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, St. John's S won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Randolph-Macon Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Front Royal HomeSchool, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eastern Shore HomeSchool at 2:45 p.m. on January 3, 2026.
