The biggest upset of the week belonged to T.R. Miller, who took down 55th ranked Bayside Academy, 43-40.
The Tigers added to the longest winning streak in 3A Region 1 this week by beating the Admirals, 43-40. The victory was the fourth in a row for T.R. Miller.
Opp's Ethan Davis and Cale Pierce have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Davis has thrown for 108 yards this season, while Pierce, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 4 catches for 58 yards. W.S. Neal's Quenton Samuels leads the league in rushing yards with 1,023.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Southside takes on Bayside Academy. As it stands, the Panthers are in sixth, while Phil Lazenby's team is in fifth.
The Bobcats were the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to fourth in 3A Region 1. Earlier in the week, Opp triumphed over Excel 7-0.
