Football Recap: Manteca Skates Past Tracy with Ease

It's playoff time, and Manteca had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Tracy Bulldogs to the tune of 43-8 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Buffaloes, who have now won nine games by 29 points or more so far this season.

Nikko Juarez had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 154 yards and three scores on only 12 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 104 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Owen Gully, who threw for 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Manteca was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 210 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tracy only rushed for 64.

Manteca pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.6 points over those games. As for Tracy, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Coming up, Manteca will host St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buffaloes will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups. Tracy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
