It was a good run, but St. Francis unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Benet Academy Redwings. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redwings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2015.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 25-13. As for Benet Academy, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 36-2.

St. Francis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Benet Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. Charles North on the 6th.
