Central Carolina Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Colton Taylor out in front who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The matchup was Taylor's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Miller, who scored 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Start has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Central Carolina Prep, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Start will face off against Lima Senior at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lima Senior's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Central Carolina Prep and Elevation Prep Academy will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Elevation Prep Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 69.6 points per game.
