It was a good run, but the Tree of Life Christian Trojans unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to Genoa Christian Academy 40-36. Tree of Life Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Genoa Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.
When it comes to explaining why Tree of Life Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ronald Amoah. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with eight steals. Genoa Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Jackson Kirura, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Myers, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
