After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Norman Charter, South Rowan was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the West Rowan Falcons get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-1 back in February.

Brooke Oehler and Sophie Steedley scored both of South Rowan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

South Rowan's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for West Rowan, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1.

Looking ahead, South Rowan will welcome Robinson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Rowan, they will square off against Lake Norman Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Rowan will need to watch out since Lake Norman Charter has now posted at least four goals in their last five matches.
