Jackson Tuttle looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Ayden Wells was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Gottsegen, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Highlands Ranch was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Columbine only posted a batting average of .250.
