With a playoff win on the line, Olmsted Falls rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wooster Generals. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on 11 straight.
Olmsted Falls found their leader in sophomore Anna Minadeo, who had six digs and two aces. Minadeo is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.
Wooster's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Anaca Holcombe, who had 11 digs, and Baylie Hahn, who had ten digs and three assists.
Olmsted Falls' win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Wooster, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 19-5.
Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Olmsted Falls and Hoover will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th. Wooster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
