No. 4 Manheim Township, which had outscored its last three opponents 182-0, barely survived their first round playoff matchup with Cumberland Valley. They won 32-26 on a go-ahead touchdown with one minute remaining.
The unbeaten Blue Streaks will take on No. 12 Central Dauphin in the second round of the District 3 Class 6A playoffs after the Rams defeated Cedar Crest 36-6.
On the other side of the bracket in District 3's loaded Class 6A, No. 7 Wilson defeated Chambersburg 41-13.
The Bulldogs take on No. 19 Harrisburg next week after the Cougars 47-14 victory over Central York.
In what may have been the most exciting game of the weekend in the Keystone State, Germantown Academy upended No. 18 Episcopal Academy in a 56-55 overtime thriller.
In the last game of the weekend, No. 2 Southern Columbia Area throttled Towanda 75-0 to extend the nation's third longest win streak to 43 games.
