Corona strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Elsinore Tigers 68-16. With that win, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 52.1 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Corona to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alex Flores, who shot 62% from the field to rack up 19 points along with five assists and three steals. The last time Flores' shooting accuracy was this high was back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Acosta, who went 6-for-13 en route to 14 points in addition to six steals and five assists.
