Chapin will challenge Parkland on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Chapin are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
Chapin ended up a good deal behind Pebble Hills when they played last week, losing 14-34. Senior Jason Cambra ii and senior Christian McKeever were two go-getters for Chapin despite the loss. The former rushed for 80 yards and 1 touchdown, while the latter picked up 46 yards on the ground and accumulated 85 passing yards.
Meanwhile, Parkland ran circles around Jefferson, and the extra yardage (527 yards vs. 81.2 yards) paid off. Parkland took the matchup and then some with a 55-6 victory over Jefferson. With Parkland ahead 41-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Parkland's win lifted them to 2-0-1 while Chapin's defeat dropped them down to 1-2. In their win, Parkland relied heavily on senior Deion Hankins, who rushed for 101 yards and 3 touchdowns. Chapin will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
