There's no place like home for Skyline, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mead Mavericks on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Ronaldo Ibarra and Thomas Martinez scored all three of Skyline's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Skyline's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8-1. As for Mead, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Skyline will take on rival Silver Creek at 4:00 p.m. on the 17th. Meanwhile, Mead is set to face off against their familiar foe Longmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
