Even though The Webb School Feet scored an imposing 62 points on Friday, the Pearl-Cohn Firebirds still came out on top. Pearl-Cohn came out on top in a nail-biter against The Webb School and snuck past 65-62. Winning may never get old, but Pearl-Cohn sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Erianna Thomas was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. The match was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dyna'c Davis, who scored 15 points.
Pearl-Cohn has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for The Webb School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Pearl-Cohn won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Siegel at 7:00 p.m. on December 16th. The Webb School will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Lee at 5:30 p.m. on December 16th.
