Among those leading the charge was Bryant Carlson, who scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Evan Beaver, who scored 9 points along with 11 rebounds and 3 steals.
Despite the defeat, Palisade had strong showings from Hunter Howard, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals, and Layne Ruppelius, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals. Julian Garza was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
The win got Moffat County back to even at 1-1. As for Palisade, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
