After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coolidge, the Idea Timberwolves were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They breezed by Richard Wright Public Charter School on the road to the tune of 49-18. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Idea also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Nehemiah Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The matchup was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Shamar Shorts, who scored 10 points along with 6 assists and 4 steals.
The victory got Idea back to even at 3-3. As for Richard Wright Public Charter School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Idea's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sherando at 8:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Richard Wright Public Charter School, they will challenge Digital Pioneers Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
