The Coral Springs Charter Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 67-10 win over Pompano Beach at home. Coral Springs Charter has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 26 points or more this season.
Coral Springs Charter got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayde Riley out in front who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Ramos, who scored 15 points.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Coral Springs Charter, bringing their record for this year to 11-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Pompano Beach, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coral Springs Charter will face off against Saint Andrew's at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Saint Andrew's focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Thursday. Pompano Beach's road trip will continue as they head out to face Stoneman Douglas at 6:00 p.m. on January 29th. Stoneman Douglas is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
