Kailey Quintana paced Mountain Empire's offense, picking up 11 kills. Quintana got some help from Breeza Valdez and her 19 assists. Rowan Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Mountain Empire's win bumped their record up to 26-7. As for Preuss UCSD, with the loss, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-12.
