The Ridgeline Riverhawks pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 62-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Syracuse.
Ridgeline lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Diego Vazquez, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. Jagger Francom was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Ridgeline's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Syracuse, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgeline will take on Weber at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Weber knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Ridgeline likes a good challenge. As for Syracuse, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lone Peak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
