The McClintock Chargers will take on the Fairfax Stampede at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
McClintock had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 81-point drubbing they dealt Central on Monday. The Chargers took their game with ease, bagging a 97-16 victory over the Bobcats. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Anna Egorova produced another solid effort shooting 77% from the field on her way to 20 points along with six steals and five assists. Those six steals gave her a new career-high. Lamaiya Woodberry was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine assists and nine steals.
McClintock smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 17 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Fairfax made easy work of Camelback on Friday and carried off a 55-29 win.
McClintock better keep an eye on Mayega Enow. She was instrumental in Fairfax's win, putting up 29 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Enow has scored at least a third of the Stampede's points. Another player making a difference was Nyatiel Pal, who posted ten points.
McClintock's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points over those games. As for Fairfax, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: McClintock hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 68.4 points per game. It's a different story for Fairfax, though, as they've been averaging only 26.6 points. The only thing between McClintock and another offensive beatdown is the Stampede. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Everything came up roses for McClintock against Fairfax in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, as the squad secured a 62-28 win. Do the Chargers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Stampede turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
