Meanwhile, Avon made easy work of Steele on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Avon Lake better keep an eye on Madison Demmerle. She was instrumental in Avon's win, getting 23 assists and three digs. Those 23 assists gave Demmerle a new career-high.
Avon's win bumped their record up to 19-0. As for Avon Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
