The Leonardtown Raiders had a rough go of it in January when they matched up with the Great Mills Hornets and had to endure more of the same last week. Leonardtown came up short against Great Mills, falling 76-69. This makes it the second loss in a row for the Raiders.
Leonardtown's overall record fell to 15-5. The victory was the 11th in a row for Great Mills and raised their record to 17-3.
Leonardtown will be playing at home against Patuxent Wednesday. Leonardtown has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency. As for the Hornets, they will face off against Huntingtown Wednesday. If the matchup is anything like Great Mills' 81-72 win from their previous meeting January, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
