Piedmont Community Charter had won three straight home games and Allasha Houser did her part to make it four on Friday. The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots put the hurt on the Valor Preparatory Academy Owls with a sharp 50-25 victory thanks in part to Houser, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Piedmont Community Charter is 10-2 when Houser posts ten or more boards, but 3-4 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Bree Phillips, who posted eight points and six rebounds. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played.

Valor Preparatory Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Kaizen Almanzar and Victoria Brumbles. Almanzar scored nine points, while Brumbles earned eight points. That was a full 36% of Valor Preparatory Academy's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Piedmont Community Charter's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Piedmont Community Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-36 loss against Jackson Day on the 4th. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 86-12 defeat against Queen's Grant on the 4th.
