Lewiston found their leader in underclassman Maddie Janssen, who scored 13 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Janssen has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Justice Currie, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Lewiston's win bumped their record up to 1-17. As for Southern, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-16.
Lewiston will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Raiders on February 6th. As for Southern, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Griffin at 6:00 p.m. Diller-Odell presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Raiders in Nebraska (the Griffin are ranked 115th, while the Raiders are ranked 266th).
