Steele Canyon dropped down to 4-3 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 61-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maranatha Christian Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 54-51 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

As for Maranatha Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-3. With that victory, they brought their scoring average up to 51.2 points per game.
