Basketball Recap: Monday's Victory Is St. David's 11th in Last 13 Outings

St. David had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 20-point drubbing they dealt Trinity Academy on Monday. The St. David's Warriors blew past the Trinity Academy Tigers 44-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted since December 3, 2024.

Eliza Everett had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Holmes, who posted seven points.

St. David's has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.2 points per game. As for Trinity Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.
