The LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Gateway Charter Griffins at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for LaBelle and four for Gateway Charter.
On Monday, LaBelle was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 51-50 to Clewiston.
Meanwhile, Gateway Charter came up short against Altamonte Christian on Saturday and fell 32-25.
LaBelle's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for Gateway Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 9-7.
LaBelle didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Gateway Charter in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 46-42 win. Does LaBelle have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gateway Charter turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
