Garfield is a perfect 5-0 against North Arlington since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Boilermakers will be playing at home against the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Garfield came up short against Fair Lawn on Friday, falling 3-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Boilermakers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, North Arlington came up short against Harrison on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Vikings have struggled against the Blue Tide recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

While North Arlington ultimately came up short, they really made Harrison work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 26-24.

North Arlington now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Garfield, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Garfield was able to grind out a solid victory over North Arlington in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Boilermakers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
