Bunnell hasn't had much luck against Immaculate recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will host the Mustangs at 4:15 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Wednesday.
Immaculate will be up against a hot Bunnell team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Everything went the Bulldogs' way against Kolbe-Cathedral on Monday as they made off with a 14-2 win.

Shea Toth made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bella Caramanica, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Those RBI were her first of the season. Kira Bryant was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Bunnell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .459. The last time their batting average was this high was back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Immaculate brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They blew past Joel Barlow 19-7 on Monday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Maddie Costa spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and six unearned) runs on six hits.
On the hitting side, Norah Whitmore was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Cami O'Rourke, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Bunnell now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Immaculate, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Immaculate's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bunnell has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .432. It's a different story for Immaculate, though, as they've only averaged .346. Will they be able to contain Bunnell's hitters?
