Corbyn Jakub Goes Supernova in Rock Port Win
Corbyn Jakub was instrumental in extending Rock Port's winning streak to seven on Friday. Mound City had no answer to Jakub as he rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 78 yards and two touchdowns.
Mound City had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Jakub it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Jakub saw the Panthers), he rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns.

Holmes Came Up Big in Rock Port's 46-16 Victory
Rock Port picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brock Holmes. Nobody could stop Holmes as he rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 50 yards.
This season, Holmes has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 26 receiving yards per game.

Gavyn Irvine Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] got the W thanks in part to Gavyn Irvine playing the best football he has all season. Irvine rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 52 yards.
For the season, Irvine has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 15.9 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to two.
