The Kenosha Christian Life Eagles can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They skirted past Messmer 67-65. The win was just what Kenosha Christian Life needed coming off of a 82-43 defeat in their prior matchup.
Kenosha Christian Life got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nolan Carroll out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. Carroll also posted eight assists for the first time this season. William Barris II was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 16 rebounds.
The win got Kenosha Christian Life back to even at 5-5. As for Messmer, they bumped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kenosha Christian Life will face off against University School of Milwaukee at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wisconsin (University School of Milwaukee is ranked 288th, while Kenosha Christian Life is ranked 297th). As for Messmer, they will head out on the road to square off against Lake Country Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Country Lutheran has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 535 points over their last seven contests.
